A word from our sponsor: For Gil Garden Avetrani, Success Is Based On Experience, Expertise, Effort, And Excellence

Running a prosperous, long-lasting business concern —whether it be in the dynamic, international hub that is Miami or anywhere around the world, for that matter— involves a myriad factors and variables, many of which are inherent to the specific company and its leadership team.
Ask Frank Gil, Joseph Garden and Joe Avetrani, principals and partners at Gil Garden Avetrani Insurance Group (GGAIG), what the secret formula to their agency’s success is and they’ll gladly tell you: “GGAIG is powered by the letter ‘E’ to the fourth degree.”

EXPERIENCE
The fortuitous meeting of Joseph Garden and Frank Gil, both working at another agency, over 21 years ago brought together these insurance veterans, each with a wealth of knowledge and extensive background in the industry: Garden had honed his craft in the Puerto Rico, New York and Miami markets while Gil had already built an impressive career and account portfolio in South Florida. Combining forces, Gil and Garden ventured out in 1998, setting up shop in Miami Lakes. In 2003 the agency relocated to its current headquarters in the vibrant Kendall area. Less than a year later, they would meet and recruit another consummate
insurance professional, Joe Avetrani, who added his sales and marketing acumen to the mix, thereby consolidating GGAIG’s leadership team.

EXPERTISE: The three men’s extensive connections and expertise in a wide range of industries helped broaden the agency’s focus.
“Not only does GGAIG provide general insurance products, such as
commercial and business policies, personal and professional liability, property and vehicle insurance, and workers compensation,” explains Joseph Garden. “We excel in specialized coverage designed for companies operating within South Florida’s most important trades:
• Construction,
• Marine and Maritime,
• International Trade and Tourism,
 Hospitality,
• Shipping and Transportation,
• Aircraft and Aviation, and others.”

“We have structured the agency by divisions, with team members and key staff who know these industries inside out,” adds Joe Avetrani. “They are specialists at evaluating our clients’ risk and then coordinating the precise coverage and support.”

In response to the preponderance of technology in modern business and
industrial operations, GGAIG also offers coverage for:
• Cyber / Hacking and IT Risks, and
• Drones and Robotics Robotics.

“Another one of our divisions is dedicated to the agricultural sector,” Avetrani expands. “We customize liability, property and other types of insurance policies for growers and nurseries in Homestead and the Redlands, too.” Joseph Garden emphasizes that the agency manages the insurance needs for international accounts through corresponding relationships with local brokers in the Caribbean, Central and South America.
“We do a lot of business through Lloyds of London,” the world’s leading insurance marketplace, “and represent all the major insurance markets, both domestic and international.”

EFFORT AND EXCELLENCE
“But what’s important is that we’re not here to sell insurance policies,” says Joe Avetrani. “GGAIG provides a level of service and expertise that far exceed what other agencies can provide. We are here to give our clients a detailed, consultative analysis of what (insurance coverage) they have, what they need. . . “
“And what we can do for them,” Joseph Garden adds.
“We look at their risk, their exposure and how we can protect them,”
concludes Frank Gil. “We owe it to our clients to provide them with the best possible service and most comprehensive coverage available in the marketplace.”
